Terms of Service

These terms apply when you download, register for or use TableBaba, the billing software for restaurants, cafes and food counters, and the website tablebaba.com. By using TableBaba you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

1. The service

TableBaba is desktop billing software with optional cloud sync and backup. It works offline. Data reaches the cloud only when your computer is connected to the internet.

2. Free demo and paid plans

• New outlets get a free demo period, currently 15 days.
• Paid plans, prices and validity are agreed with you in writing, for example on the demo call or on an invoice. GST is extra as applicable.
• If the demo or a paid validity ends and is not renewed, we may deactivate the account. You can still ask for an export of your data (see section 6).

3. Your account

• Give correct details when you register, and keep your password and the app's PINs private.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and your devices. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
• You can sign devices out from the app, and we can sign them out for you.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse TableBaba. In particular, do not:

• use it for illegal activity or to issue false bills;
• try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
• access another outlet's data;
• resell the software without our written permission.

We may suspend or deactivate an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

5. Bills, taxes and compliance

TableBaba helps you calculate bills, GST and reports, but you remain responsible for:

• the prices, tax rates and settings you enter;
• checking your bills;
• filing your taxes;
• meeting the laws that apply to your business, such as GST and FSSAI.

6. Your data

Your outlet's data belongs to you. You give us permission to store, sync and back it up only to provide the service. The app can export your data to Excel at any time, and on request we will provide a copy of your latest cloud backup. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

7. Backups and availability

We work hard to keep the cloud service available and backups safe. Even so, no service is free of interruptions. Internet outages, computer failures or data entered incorrectly can affect your records. Keep your computer in good condition and let the app back up regularly.

8. Updates

We may release updates that fix problems, add features or change how features work. Some updates may be needed to keep using cloud features safely.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

TableBaba is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for TableBaba in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending the service

You can stop using TableBaba at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end or suspend the service for an account as described in these terms. If we stop offering TableBaba altogether, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If you keep using TableBaba after a change, you accept the updated terms. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners in the app or by email.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of India.
